Eastern Connecticut Ballet celebrates the 10th Anniversary Nutcracker and their 20th Anniversary as a ballet school in East Lyme!
Eastern CT Ballet's hip hop team, Street Elite will be performing a few times during Celebrate East Lyme and they have had an incredibly successful year (winning 1st place gold and 2nd place silver at World's Championship).

Eastern Connecticut Ballet's Street Elite Hip Hop teams recently
took gold and silver in hip hop dance at the United States All Star
Federation Dance World's Championship in Orlando, Fla. Their coach and
choreographer, Beth Newton, was named Dance Coach of the Year as well.
The Dance World's competition is attended by more than 250 dance teams
from all over the United States, as well as countries from across the
globe. Only the top teams are invited to attend. The Street Elite teams
earned a total of two golds, four silver and one bronze. Eastern
Connecticut Ballet also has a junior team that took gold & a mini team
that was awarded silver at a national event in Virginia Beach this year.
