Vendor Information

If you are interested in becoming a vendor, please complete the information below to request a vendor space on Main Street for Celebrate East Lyme 2010, Saturday, July 17th, for a booth or food outlet.

Spaces are approximately 10 x 10 feet. We are limiting each vendor/business to one 10 x 10 foot pre-designated space. If you require an extra space, please note below, in detail, why you are requesting additional space. Electricity is provided by special request, in writing, and will require written approval and inspection.

Your business will be assigned spaces in the area that represents the best fit, but we will do our best to accommodate special requests. Spaces are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. Current East Lyme businesses have first refusal on space in front of their business. This year, we will not be accepting any vendors selling products or services which compete with existing East Lyme businesses. All applications will be reviewed by the Celebrate East Lyme committee. You will receive an acceptance letter via email unless noted otherwise below.

Please be careful on the day of the festival to set up in the correct spot or you may be asked to move. Due to scheduled street closings, setup begins promptly at 1:30 p.m. and tear down may not begin until 9 p.m.

Important Notice:  Your space is reserved at the time of registration/participation request.  Payment must be received prior to July 17th.  If a vendor is a no-show, you are still responsible and will be billed for your reserved space. No-show's will not be eligible to participate in the following CEL event.  There is NO rain date and there are NO refunds for vendors or sponsors.

ATTENTION FOOD VENDORS: All food vendors must acquire a permit from the Ledge Light Health District,

Inspections will be held on the day of the event and each food vendor MUST possess a valid permit from Ledge Light Health and follow the proper procedures per their instructions. We try to avoid duplication of offerings as best we can however we are not responsible for duplications. Please describe your menu in full below to avoid duplications.

East Lyme residents and businesses will be charged a fee of $50 per space. Those vendors from outside East Lyme are encouraged to participate for a charge of $75 per space. All food vendors will be required to submit a $100 refundable deposit to ensure a first-rate selection of fare.

By submitting this application, vendors agree to meet the following guidelines. Vendors will be completely set up by 3:00 p.m. and remain open until 9:00 p.m. Booths must be removed from the street and area cleaned by 9:30 p.m. Food outlets must meet health code requirements and hold a valid permit from the East Lyme Health Department.
